Indonesian Smoothie
Alpukat is an Indonesian smoothie made from ripe avocados, sweet condensed milk, and crushed ice. Ingredients
- 3 avocado's ripe
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 5 tbsp condensed milk
- 4 tbsp ice preferably crushed
- 1 tsps vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cane sugar
- 4 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream optional
Instructions
- Let's start with the chocolatesirup. Boil the water and sugar in a saucepan, stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the cacao, vanilla extract and salt and stir well until smooth. Let it cool to room temperature. Your chocolatesirup is done!
- Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh with a spoon and place it in a blender. Add the condensed milk, coconut milk and ice and blend until you have a nice smooth smoothie
- Put 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup in two large glasses. Pour the avocado smoothie over the syrup and serve with a straw or ice cream scoop.
